Mother's Day 2009

I had a wonderful Mother's Day this year. I got to go out with my Mom and Natalie on the Saturday before. We had the ultimate girls' day - we went to the new Long Center and saw the ballet "Cinderella." Then we went to the Melting Pot for a very yummy fondue dinner!

When asked what she thought about the ballet, Natalie responded "It was sooo boring." I guess I should let go of my dream of her being a ballerina. It was worth a try, right? Fortunately she really liked the fondue - she was all about the dipping!

On Mother's Day we had to rush out the door for early morning church (9am!) so no breakfast in bed for me - I didn't mind though. I got to take a nap that afternoon and that was the best gift the kids could give me. Of course they all ended up in bed with me when I woke up...

Natalie, Nathan, & Tyler:

Thank you so much for letting me be your mother, you are the greatest joy in my life and I hope I can teach you half of what you have already taught me. I love you so much, and I love watching you grow and develop. I am so greatful to have you in my life - you are the world to me.

Love,

Your Mom
