Attempts at a Snowman

With all the snow we've been getting lately we thought it would be fun to build a snowman. Of course the boys thought it would be more fun to bury Natalie first...
Then next thing we know everyone lays down in the snow...
Nathan made a snowball -it's a start!
Then there was more romping about in the snow...

And somehow the snowman just never got made!

In our defense, the snow really is too powdery to stick well enough to actually make a snowman. We'll try again when it starts to melt!

Yay it's hard to make a snowman with dry snow. The best time of the year to make a snow man is November and April 'cause it's really wet snow. We'll have to get the boys together and do that this spring! :D That would be fun.

Anyway adorable post with the hubby and the kids. So cute.

Snowman making is an art form. Doesn't look like your kids seemed to care about the final product anyway! Fun times, but I'm sure glad not to have to deal with snow! :)

Thanks so much for keeping up with great pictures and commentary on your family blog. It helps when you are so far away... sigh- we love you and miss seeing you but are still happy for the great opportunity and fun you are enjoying in Utah.

Cute blog! Looks like you guys are making the best of the snow. Luckily this year has been mild!

Glad you tried the snowman. Maybe next year you will get some moist snow. But it is good powder for those who ski. Love you.
