Tyler warmed right up to them even though it had been a few months since he last saw them -every morning he loved to hang out with Grandma!
Nathan (our early riser) couldn't wait for Grandma to wake up every morning
Let the fun begin! Natalie insisted on "decorating" Granddaddy with her zhu zhu pet
The boys hanging out together - believe it or not they actually were happy here!It was so fun getting to go out with Mom and have girl days again. We took Natalie and got our nails done, went shopping, and of course ate yummy food! Oh how we ate.... I think we only ate one meal at home that entire week. We really enjoyed ourselves!! Mom also had the opportunity to come with me to an etiquette dinner that we had for the youth in our ward - I'm glad she got to meet the awesome Young Women I get to serve every week. Dad was so great because he watched the boys so we could have our girl time. Thanks, Dad!!!
On their last night here we took my parents downtown to Temple Square since they had never been before. I am always in awe of how beautiful it is, even if it is only 20 degrees outside! The kids loved seeing the temple and walking around the temple grounds and visitor's center. We finished the evening with dinner at the Lion House. Amazing! And the berry pie we got there - let's just say that I ate more than my fair share!!

Looks like you all had a wonderful time. We will try to visit in the summer months (no snowman building for us Texas transplants!) Carla
Thanks for posting those pictures. It sure brings back the memories. We had a great time even though it was cold. You are our snow birds now.
