The Kindergarten classes at Natalie's school had a Kindy 500 day in May. Each of the kindergartener's had to make their own vehicle out of a large box to "drive" around the school in a parade for all the parents and other classes. Natalie was so excited about doing this - she knew exactly how she wanted her car to look. Dan did the spray-painting and assembling of the car, while Natalie and I did the decorating. It turned out super cute!!
Natalie is pointing out her painting outside her classroom in the hallway
Check out the Texas license plate! It doesn't get any cooler than that!!
Natalie & Nathan - seeing their true personalities!

And they're off on the parade!
The kids made 2 laps around the school, being cheered on by all the parents and older students. It was so much fun to see all the cute cars, but of course we thought Natalie's was the best!
After the parade the classes were put into small groups and "drove" to stations set up around the school to learn about our great nation's history. Here Natalie is learning about the liberty bell. That's Natalie's little wave saying "Yes, I see you Mom, but could you please let me pay attention now?" She had so much fun at the Kindy 500!
