What we've been up to...

For the past month we have been passing a cold around at our house. Tyler and Nathan kept passing it back and forth and then they decided to be generous and pass it on to me. I woke up Valentine's Day with a BAD cold. Which I then kindly passed on to Dan. And somewhere in all of that Natalie got the cold as well. That is why I haven't been blogging lately.

So here's a few of the things we have been doing when we haven't been down sick...

Looking out the window
One day Natalie and Nathan decided it would be fun to look out the back window and watch the construction workers building houses behind us. They were fascinated by it! (I don't typically keep our kitchen table in the living room except on Thursdays when I move it out of the kitchen for ballet class)

Nathan playing tee-ball Whenever the weather is nice Nathan insists on being outside and playing tee-ball. He is such a boy! And yes, we already have him signed up to play tee-ball this Spring.

Making "spit mohawks" One afternoon I discovered Tyler had a mohawk - cool dude! Natalie was quite pleased with how it turned out. I asked her how she got his hair to stick up so well - she used spit!!

Dancing! Natalie loves to sing and dance - she is such a happy girl and so much fun to have around!

Playing with dolls Can you see what's funny about the dolls they are playing with? Silly kids!

Cruising Tyler pulls up on everything now and cruises along (walking while holding on to something).

Dressing up

Putting away laundry This is what I get when I ask Dan to help me hang up our clothes. Those are his pants hanging on our closet door! He thinks if he does it badly enough I won't ask him to help again. You aren't as funny as you think Dan!!

Playing "school" The kids had some friends over and decided to play "school" in our pantry. They had a list of rules, snack, and a lesson. It was so cute!

Eating cookies!

Because after all of that, eating cookies is really all I want to do. And let's face it - it's the funnest thing to do!
