Excuses

I am always coming up with excuses for why the laundry isn't folded. They're all pretty lame since it's usually "I just didn't feel like it!" But the other day I actually had what I thought was a reasonable excuse for not folding the laundry that was piled up on our bed....

Doesn't Peggy look so sweet there? I just had to take her picture! Peggy absolutely loves laundry, whether clean or dirty, especially when it's warm out of the dryer - she will burrow down into it and sleep under the laundry. What a funny dog!

That was also my excuse for not making the bed that day.

As you can see, Tyler has many fun and exciting things he enjoys doing these days. He's such a happy baby and brings so much joy to our family. We love you, Tyler!

Port Aransas Trip

Last weekend we got to go to Port Aransas, TX with my mom for the Adopt-a-beach clean-up. We spent 4 wonderful days on the beach, relaxing, swimming, eating, and sleeping (and not much else!). The weather was absolutely perfect, the ocean felt great, and we all had such a wonderful time together. It was so nice not looking at the clock and just doing what we felt like everyday. The kids loved the beach and didn't want to come back (and neither did we!)- we'll definitely be going again!
